# Monday checklist — pick the surface, then model cost

Paste this into the RFC. Do not start a proof-of-concept on two platforms in the same week.

## Day 1 — Five questions

- [ ] Employees + ACL chat? → Quick **Chat Agents**
- [ ] Customer / product API? → AgentCore **Harness** (or **Strands** if topology is already known)
- [ ] Existing `SKILL.md` packs? → Harness `awsSkills` / Git / S3 or Strands `AgentSkills` — **not** Quick instructions
- [ ] Graph / Swarm / hop caps? → **Strands on Runtime**; export Harness
- [ ] Unattended org-owned process? → Quick **Automate** (Enterprise) **or** AgentCore if it is a product API

Write the chosen surface in one sentence at the top of the RFC.

## Day 2 — Cost on current list prices

- [ ] Open [`tco-scenarios.csv`](tco-scenarios.csv)
- [ ] Replace seat counts; keep the July `$3,580` row as **historical only**
- [ ] Confirm [Quick pricing](https://aws.amazon.com/quick/pricing/) (Pro $20 / Ent $40 / $250 infra / agent hours)
- [ ] If the agent is sessions not seats, model [AgentCore calculator](https://www.factualminds.com/tools/amazon-bedrock-agentcore-pricing-calculator/)
- [ ] If you need Automate, you are on Enterprise — do not quote Professional

## Day 3 — Skills contract

- [ ] Inventory `SKILL.md` repos (AWS Agent Toolkit, internal Git)
- [ ] If any exist: attach them on Harness or Strands; do not paste into Quick persona
- [ ] If none exist and the users are employees: Quick instructions + Spaces are enough

## Day 4 — Hard stops

- [ ] Flows chat-agent step is **single-turn** — multi-turn stays in Chat or moves to Harness
- [ ] Browser / Code Interpreter **off** on Harness/Runtime unless the turn needs them (support-bot pilots saw ~3× Runtime-shaped spend when left on)
- [ ] No Bedrock Agents Classic for net-new (maintenance for new customers after 30 July 2026)
- [ ] No Amazon Q Business for net-new (same maintenance window) — Quick Suite is the workforce path

## Day 5 — One proof, one owner

- [ ] Stand up **one** surface in non-prod (not both)
- [ ] 10 golden tasks with expected tool / connector / skill
- [ ] Owner named for evals + cost alarm
